Homemade Guacamole – avocado dip
Here we are again with a new dip! Today we present you our favorite recipe for homemade guacamole. Get excited about this avocado cream and pull out your snacks. This dip goes great with all kinds of snacks, be it chips, pretzel sticks, crackers or just as a spread.
At every party, we ask our friends to bring something to eat. Often they are very creative and sometimes they just bring a bag of chips. That’s ok and that’s what we do most of the time, depending on how much time we just had before. But this one friend always brings this dip. And it’s not just any guacamole, it’s a freaking delicious homemade guacamole! The best I’ve ever had. It’s also really always dipped away very quickly.
This friend has latin roots and was kind enough to share the recipe with us. In fact, he explained to us that there was not much to consider for the recipe. The most important thing is to have very ripe avocados. Only then, they are very easy to spoon out of their skin and can be mashed with a fork easily. This really seems to be very important. Because we made the mistake several times and took avocados that weren’t ripe yet, the dip never tasted as good as the one our buddy made. So the most important thing is: always choose very ripe and soft avocados for the dip, otherwise, it won’t taste nearly as great and you have to put it much more effort to mash them. ๐
By the way, we have more delicious dip recipes for you. How about a spicy Mojo Rojo? Or how about our quick herb dip? The next snack evening will be great with any of those. Bring a tasty dip to your next party =).

Notes
- You can leave the guacamole to infuse in the refrigerator for another 1 hour, it will taste much better.
- If the avocados are not ripe, they are very difficult to mash with a fork. You might want to use a blender to make it easier for you.
