- 4 Avocados ripe or slightly soft
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1-2 Limes or the juice of 1-2 limes
- 1 Chili
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 piece of fresh ginger or 1 tsp ginger spice
- 1 medium-sized tomato
- 1 medium-sized red onion
- Salt
- Pepper
Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and place in a bowl.
Add oil and mash everything with a fork until homogeneous.
Squeeze the limes and add the juice.
Finely chop the onion, chili and garlic. Finely dice the tomato and add to the avocado mixture.
Use as much fresh ginger as garlic. Chop finely and add to the mixture.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- You can leave the guacamole to infuse in the refrigerator for another 1 hour, it will taste much better.
- If the avocados are not ripe, they are very difficult to mash with a fork. You might want to use a blender to make it easier for you.
