Ingredients

  • 4 Avocados ripe or slightly soft
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1-2 Limes or the juice of 1-2 limes
  • 1 Chili
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger or 1 tsp ginger spice
  • 1 medium-sized tomato
  • 1 medium-sized red onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and place in a bowl.
  • Add oil and mash everything with a fork until homogeneous.
  • Squeeze the limes and add the juice.
  • Finely chop the onion, chili and garlic. Finely dice the tomato and add to the avocado mixture.
  • Use as much fresh ginger as garlic. Chop finely and add to the mixture.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Notes

  • You can leave the guacamole to infuse in the refrigerator for another 1 hour, it will taste much better.
  • If the avocados are not ripe, they are very difficult to mash with a fork. You might want to use a blender to make it easier for you.
