Vanilla lime cream

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g Greek yogurt
  • 50 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 Pack of vanilla sugar
  • 15 ml Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 Vanilla bean or 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • cookies or limes for decoration optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix the yogurt and powdered sugar in a bowl until smooth.
  • Grate some lime zest and squeeze the juice of half a lime (1-2 tablespoons is about 15ml) and add to the yogurt mixture.
  • Slit the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Add the vanilla pulp and vanilla sugar to the yogurt mixture.
  • Mix everything well.
  • In a bowl, whip the cream until stiff. Then gently fold the cream into the yogurt mixture.
  • Pour the cream into dessert glasses and decorate if desired. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

Notes

  • If you do not have a vanilla bean at home, you can also use half a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Please only use the zest of organic limes.
  • The dessert can also be layered in the glass. For example, you could try amaretti cookies or oatmeal cookie pieces.
