- 300 g Greek yogurt
- 50 g Powdered sugar
- 1 Pack of vanilla sugar
- 15 ml Lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 Vanilla bean or 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g Whipped cream
- cookies or limes for decoration optional
Mix the yogurt and powdered sugar in a bowl until smooth.
Grate some lime zest and squeeze the juice of half a lime (1-2 tablespoons is about 15ml) and add to the yogurt mixture.
Slit the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Add the vanilla pulp and vanilla sugar to the yogurt mixture.
Mix everything well.
In a bowl, whip the cream until stiff. Then gently fold the cream into the yogurt mixture.
Pour the cream into dessert glasses and decorate if desired. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
- If you do not have a vanilla bean at home, you can also use half a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Please only use the zest of organic limes.
- The dessert can also be layered in the glass. For example, you could try amaretti cookies or oatmeal cookie pieces.
