Exotic Moscow Mule – the new classic

The exotic moscow mule garnished with a sprig of mint and lime slices.

You probably know some of the classic cocktail recipes from visiting different bars. Certain cocktails have become classics, because they just taste great. The Moscow Mule, for example, is a one of those tasty cocktails that has been around for a long time now and that many people have probably heard of. This variation adds an exotic touch to the classic recipe, creating the exotic moscow mule – the new classic drink!

We tried this variation when we were looking into tiki cocktails. We wanted to bring a little tropical feel to it. So we combined a classic drink with falernum syrup, but what exactly is falernum and what do I do with it, you might ask. For a brief explanation and another tiki cocktail recipe, check out our delicious Mai Tai with passionfruit cocktail.

If you feel that the Moscow Mule with Ginger Beer is too spicy for you, you can of course also use Ginger Ale. This is just a matter of taste. But don’t forget the falernum, it really adds a great taste to this drink! In our opinion, it has the potential to become a new classic. An exotic Moscow Mule should definitely be on your cocktail shopping list.
