Jack Daniel’s cinnamon pineapple cocktail

Jack Daniel's cinnamon pineapple cocktail with Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire and pineapple liqueur, garnished with a lime slice.

Here is a very special cocktail based on a cinnamon whiskey (Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire) combined with pineapple liqueur and falernum. Does it taste good, you might ask? Our answer: The Jack Daniel’s Cinnamon Pineapple Cocktail is very delicious! A real must-try! 🙂

The story behind this cocktail

We have seen the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire quite a few times in stores and have always walked past it. While passing I always said to my husband: “Oh, the cinnamon whiskey is really delicious, you have to try it. This was always acknowledged with a ” Yes, honey.”. I went through this stratagem of attrition for months until we were standing at the checkout and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire was on sale. I recited my line again and this time we actually bought it.

After tasting it, we thought there must be really good cocktails recipes with this whiskey. The idea of a cocktail party only with cinnamon whiskey cocktails was born. We wrote down a couple of recipes and bought the ingredients. Of course, all cocktails had to be tested by us before the party started. For one whole week we mixed multiple cocktails everyday and decided if that one should be included in our final cocktail list.

Unfortunately, the ingredients for the Jack Daniel’s cinnamon pineapple cocktail were missing until shortly before the party. All the other drinks had already been given names by us, but only this one drink could not be named. So internally it is still called “the great unknown”, but fortunately the wait was worth it.

The cocktail surprised us with that soft cinnamon touch, pineapple sweetness and fine tiki flavors of the falernum. The lime juice is a great addition to it, so it won’t taste too sweet overall.

If you still have some falernum left and don’t know what to do with it, we’ve got you covered: You could try the Mai Tai with passion fruit or the exotic Moscow Mule. If you prefer a drink without alcohol, try the Caribbean iced coffee, which brings the relaxing vacation vibes straight home to you.
